Caution: Fake Qioptiq Lenses on the Market? Reading New Milspec Qualified Lens in Partnership with BrightPath Solutions SG 2 minutes

In partnership with BrightPath Solutions SG, we have developed a new Mil qualified lens solution entering the market Q2 2025. BrightPath Solutions SG was created by former key members of the Qioptiq Excelitas NV Optics Division to continue their legacy of producing high quality NV Optics.

We designed these optics with quality and pedigree in mind, thus the prescription and performance are based on combining high resolution performance from aviation systems with ground optimized coatings into a PVS-14 compatible package. In essence this produces the same high resolution image and low distortion image experienced when using an AVS-6/9 or F5050 lens system but without the cockpit light filters.

What does this mean for the consumers? Our new offering will counteract the supply squeeze on Milspec PVS-14 lens systems after Qioptiq Excelitas ended their operations in NV Optics. This is the supply squeeze that pushed many dealers to switch to alternative non Mil compliant lens systems. As these lenses are being delivered from Singapore and Canada we do not require US export authorizations which bloat the cost of other Mil qualified lenses, expect the cost of Milspec lenses to drop down to earth in the international market.

Production samples available to potential dealers. Certification of Origin available to government purchasers as necessary. ATR compliance data including MTF, EFL, FFD, distortion, field curvature, submersion, thermal shock cycles, etc. available to dealers purchasing large quantities. Contact us for inquiries.

Parts Origin:

  • Compliant with US Trade Agreements Act (TAA)
  • Mechanical components made in Taiwan
  • Glass optical components made by SCHOTT AG and Ohara Corp
  • Optical assembly in Singapore

Eyepiece:

  • Compliant to MIL-L-49427

Objective:

  • Compliant to optical and environmental performance specifications of MIL-L-49426 (aviation filters removed)

Edit: Objective lenses are shown with no knurling as these are production samples. Injection molded knurling is currently in production, we did not want to release photos with our 3D printed prototype knurling as someone will inevitably assume we are 3D printing lenses or something of that sort.
